Kelly's obituary

Kelly D. Rampetsreiter from Franklin, WI died September 11, 2018 as a result of end stage ileus which followed emergency surgery on her intestines. She was born into this world June 6, 1988, the daughter of Cheryl Baker (husband Tim Wyrick), and Tom Rampetsreiter. She is survived by four siblings and their families, Ryan Rampetsreiter , (wife Laura and son Calvin), Jenna Rampetsreiter, Dustin Rampetsreiter, and step sister Jennifer Appel (husband Doug). She was preceded in death by step brother Colton King, and grandparents, Bud and Diana Baker, and John and Judy Rampetsreiter. She also had two loving step dads, Michael King and Tim Wyrick and his entire family, oldest daughter Cyndi Wyrick-Glass, Ray Fracassi and her 3 boys, Ethan, Warren, and Dexter, and Tim’s youngest daughter Candi Wyrick, husband Joey Taylor and their three daughters, Brianna, Izabella, and Natalia

She also had loving aunts, uncles, cousins, caretakers, and friends.

Kelly had life long challenges with cognitive and mental disabilities making her life very difficult at times. She relied heavily on other people for her basic needs. Because of this, Kelly was lucky enough to have a second family. Kim McCarthy stepped in as a second mom to Kelly from birth on. She also had another dad, Jim McCarthy. Kelly’s five extra siblings from this family include, Alex Anderson, Molly Anderson (Daughter Aliana), Nate McCarthy (wife Erin), MacKensie McCarthy, and Ben McCarthy.

The last 6 years of Kelly’s life she lived in her own apartment run by Cheryl, Kim and Lisa Plant (Mom1,2&3) through an invaluable program called IRIS. She had an exceptionally wonderful team of woman helping her 24/7 to be a “tall person”. She truly had many happy times there due entirely to the dedication of all these helping hands and her hard work.

Kelly’s greatest love was her entire family.

We are having a private memorial for Kelly with the closest of friends and family.
In lieu of flowers we ask that you consider donating to Life Striders in Waukesha where Kelly loved her therapeutic horse back riding.
