Kelly's obituary
Kelly Lynn Adams, departed this earthly life on June 22nd, 2023 at her home in Spartanburg, SC. She was 59 years old.
Kelly is preceded in death by her father Leslie E Hayes and mother Nita A. DalSanto.
She is survived by her husband Ronald, her brothers Jeff (Pam) Hayes, Les Hayes and Brett Hayes and sister Lisa (Lawrence) Grubb, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and very close friend Sylvia Huffman and the many friends who were like family to her.
Kelly had an amazing sense of humor. Her wit was razor sharp and a knack for telling it like it is.
She was renowned for her mouth, her extensive vocabulary was highly proficient at knowing more curse words than most people learn in a lifetime.
She made her family and those that came into contact with her laugh with the things she would say. She considered it her mission to see how quickly she could make you blush.
She had a deep love for cats, known as Mama Kels to her fur-babies, Joker, Princess Pandemonium, Twilight, and Cheddar were all rescue kittens. That became part of the family. If a stray cat wandered around the house, she would provide them with a meal, water, and shelter for their brief stay.
Kelly was a fun spirited soul, from her choice of hair colors, pink, purple, red, blue and teal to the different styles of clothes she wore. She was an unrelenting advocate for being who you are and doing what you want. Loud, funny, intelligent, and elegant. There is so much more that should be said, but in the end, what she did was make our world brighter with her beautiful smile and laughter that lit up our souls.
Graveside service will be October 6th at 10:30 am at Calvary Cemetery
