Kelly's obituary
Kelly Catherine Brown left this world on December 26, 2025, but the love she gave so freely will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Born on September 6, 1984, Kelly was a bright light in our lives—fun-loving, free-spirited, and full of joy. Her laughter was contagious, and her presence made everything feel lighter.
For five beautiful years, Kelly shared her life with her devoted wife, Michelle. Together, they walked through life side by side, facing its challenges and celebrating its joys with love, loyalty, and deep devotion. Their bond was one of true partnership, built on shared adventures and an unbreakable connection.
Kelly’s greatest pride and joy was being a mother. She poured her heart into loving her children—Hunter, Liam, Madison, Josiah, Jessica, and Blake. Each of them was cherished beyond measure, and her love for them was constant, comforting, and unconditional.
Family and friends meant everything to Kelly. The bonds she formed were filled with laughter, warmth, and genuine care. She leaves behind her brothers, Jeff (Theresa) and Danny (Jessica), who will forever carry her spirit of joy, kindness, and love with them.
She was survived by her parents, Russell and Marilyn VanDenBos, whose love and guidance shaped Kelly into the incredible woman we were so blessed to know.
Kelly was also a beloved aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She had a special way of making people feel welcome and valued, and her love reached far beyond her immediate family.
As we remember Kelly, we are reminded of the love she shared so effortlessly and the joy she brought into our lives. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit remains in every laugh, every memory, and every heart she touched. Kelly C. Brown was truly one of a kind, and she will be deeply missed, always loved, and never forgotten.
Friends may visit with Kelly’s family starting at 12pm on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at North Point Church in Plainwell until the time of the memorial service at 1pm, with Pastor Jason Zimmer officiating.
Contributions in memory of Kelly may be directed to her parents to care for her son Blake.
