Keith's obituary
Keith Irvin Young Jr. was born on November 28, 1962 to Keith and Margaret Young in Columbus, Ohio. Soon afterward his family moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa where Keith spent his earliest years. Following the death of his father, Keith Irvin Young Sr., Keith moved with his mother and stepfather to Victor Iowa. After completing high school, Keith joined the U.S. Army. He served in Iraq during the Gulf War and spent several tours of duty in Korea. Keith continued to have a keen interest in the Korean people and culture for the rest of his life.
Keith owned and operated his own roofing and sign making business in the Tacoma area for 29 years.
On Friday, April 1st, Keith Irvin Young Jr. passed away suddenly from a heart attack and entered his eternal home. Keith was preceded in death by his son, Nathan Young, parents Keith Young and Margaret Pidima, by his stepfather, Don Pidima, and by two sisters, Donna Wido and Mary Olson.
He is survived by his son, Neil Young and his daughter, Sarah Moffatte, three sisters, Kathy Heiden, Joyce Voelker, and Kimberly Ramos and by six grandchildren. He will be missed by his friends and family.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 26th at 3:00 p.m. at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.
