Keith's obituary

Keith Watson, 55, of Naugatuck, Connecticut, passed away on October 26, 2020 after complications from heart failure and a battle with heart disease.

Keith was born on March 4, 1965 to Helen Watson and James Stevens in St. James, New York.

He graduated from Wilbur Cross High School in New Haven, CT in 1983. Keith’s infectious personality made him very popular with friends and family. Keith was a talented, and skilled basketball player. He played basketball while in high school and locally throughout Connecticut.

Along with enjoying most sports, Keith loved music and his greatest joy was spending time with his family at barbecues and family celebrations. He was a proud car enthusiast, having owned many vintage and very stylish cars. His cars were every bit his pride and joy. Keith loved caring for animals and was especially fond of his pet rabbits and birds. Affectionately known as “the wildman”, Keith and his fun-loving spirit will be greatly missed.

Keith Watson is survived by his Brothers Paul Watson Jr; Roger Watson; and Brother-in-law Robert Sims. Sisters, Daphyne Watson; Gwendolyn Sims; Kim Stevens; and Sisters -in-law Shirley Watson; Marie Watson-Ching. Keith is also survived by nephews Tim Simpson; Paul Watson III; Faze Watson-Washington; Melvin Watson; Michael Watson; Julian Sims; and nieces Geneva James; Sophonya Simpson-Adams; Mika Hardison-Carr; Kienda Sims; Amina Talotta; Helen Watson-Cherry; Leah Watson; Ebony Pernell and many more great nephews and nieces.
Keith was also loved by numerous cousins, other family and friends.
