Keith's obituary

Keith Karl Stabe went home to be with Jesus on April 10th, 2021 at 81.

Keith was born to Ralph and Luella Stabe on December 30th, 1939 in Hinton, Iowa. As a child, Keith grew up on a farm helping with chores, milking cows, and even driving the tractor at nine years old. Keith attending a one room country school house where he made lifelong friends.

Keith met his wife Peggy in 1956 at Riverside Park in Sioux City, Iowa at a Walther League Lutheran Youth Event. They were married on November 30th, 1960 and went on to have four children. Julie and her husband Wes have six children, Wesley (wife Heather + twin children Wesley & Emma Joy), Albert, Andrew, Amanda, Patrick, and Jeff. Gene and his wife Amy have three children, Luke (wife Jessica) John, and Nathan. Jill and her husband Tom have four children, Tommy, Maddie, Jay, and Garrett. Jeff - Keith & Peggy’s youngest son passed away in 1973 and is now reunited with his father in heaven.

In addition to being a dedicated husband and loving father, Keith also loved woodworking and construction projects. His skills can be seen throughout their home in Granada Hills, California with three room additions adorned with his skilled cabinetry.

Keith worked at UCLA for 48 years in the Chemistry Department as an electronic engineer alongside professors and students in research development.

Through out his entire life, Keith held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those around him. He serve on church councils, hosted home fellowships , led Bible studies, and
went on multiple missions trips.

Keith fought the good fight, he has finished his race and now has - received his reward.
