Keith's obituary
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Keith Speckhals, who was called to eternal rest on March 16, 2025 at the age of 64. Born on August 29, 1960, Keith lived a fulfilling life, marked by his humor, compassion, and love for his family, and friends.
Keith is survived by his beloved wife, Teresa Speckhals (nee Mattler). His daughters Renee (Richard) Schroeder, Casey (Steven) McKenna, and Laura (Nathan) Schuh. His grandchildren; Callie, Maggie, Jonas, Charlie, Elijah, and Benjamin. The void left by Keith's departure is immeasurable, but the love and memories he leaves behind will always be treasured by those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Keith was a man of many wonderful qualities, some of which included his caring nature, wit, patience, and hardworking spirit. Keith was a Registered Nurse First Assistant, He loved his job in the Operating Room. Keith was an active member of the Fenton Lions Club. He enjoyed golf and spending his weekends at Peaceful Valley Lake boating and fishing. His jovial and fun-loving personality always led to the creation of happy moments and infectious laughter.
Among the many life lessons Keith imparted, one that stood out was, "No matter how full you are, there is always room for ice cream." This humorous yet profound wisdom encapsulated Keith's joyful approach to life, reminding us all to always leave room for life's sweet pleasures.
Keith leaves a legacy of laughter, love, and repetitive sayings that will forever be cherished and remembered. He impacted many lives with his wisdom, love, and humor, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life service for Keith will be held on March 26, 2025 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Valley Park Lions Club. A memorial service will begin at 6:00 p.m. It is a moment for us to honor a great man whose life was filled with joy, love, and laughter.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made for a memorial bench in Keith's name. We request you to keep Keith's memory alive in your hearts and remember him through his favorite sayings and lessons. May we all find comfort in the shared memories and in knowing that his spirit will always be among us.
