Keith was truly a gift to all who met him. His broad-welcoming smile and fun-loving attitude were his signature gifts to every situation.  We feel honored to have known him. He holds a special place in our hearts and will be missed.

2020, Barnes Operating Room
I worked with Keith for 15 years in the operating room at "Big Barnes".  He was simply superb at what he did as an operating room nurse.  He was even more remarkable as an incredible human being who always had a smile on his face and cared greatly about patients and his coworkers.  He is gone far too soon and will be dearly missed.
I worked many years with Keith at Des Peres Hospital. He was never in a bad mood, superb at his job, and caring toward patients. I always knew it would be a good day when he was in my OR. We will see him again.

Some of the best times with some of the most loved friends
I spent 4 years working with Keith in my fellowship training and as faculty at WashU. I will never forget his genuine warmth and kindness he showed everyone. His humor always brought a smile to those around him. We still recycle many of his timeless jokes in my operating room, and they all still get a good laugh, every single time we tell them. Above all, I will not forget the commitment he showed to the care of his patients. He was just a really solid guy in the truest sense. Although it has been years since I've seen or spoken with Keith, I'm deeply saddened to learn of his passing and send my condolences to his family and close friends. Keith, you will be missed but not forgotten
Renee and family.  We are very saddened to hear of your loss.   Our next family ice cream outing will be in your father's honor. Matt and Sarah Wittkop
So sorry for your loss.  Hoping all your fond memories can bring some peace.  Mike & Maggie Hutchison
We are so sorry for your loss, we know it’s a great one. We pray that the happy memories continue to flow over you all.  Hugs and prayers, Bill and Kim Kizer
Keith was a great man.  Although I only got to spend a year with him during my fellowship, the impact he made on my career and the careers of countless other residents and fellows will last for generations!  Hibbidy Dibbidy!

Pat and I send our condolences to you Teresa and to your family.  We'll always remember Keith's genuine smile and laughter with everyone. And yes, his definite love of ice cream will stay with us forever.  May Keith continue to watch over you from Heaven and May he rest in eternal peace.  Much love and prayers, Susie and Pat.  We'll be with you in spirit for the Celebration of Life.
