I am sorry to hear of Keith’s passing. He was, and always will be remembered as a great friend who I love, admire, and respect. We had so many great adventures and memories together. Many times he caught more fish than I did, although I would never admit it. Whatever he put his mind up to do he did it. Whenever I needed help he was there. Whoever needed compassion he showed it. Always putting others first instead of himself. A better friend could not be had. Help his spirit live on by demonstrating the qualities he possessed, kindness toward others, and peace to all.

I have heard the memorial did not play live on Facebook as planned and am following up with Pastor Wade to see if he accidentally recorded it. If not, I’ll share the music, eulogy, scripture, and some of the photos from the slideshow here.

Keith was a "one-of-a-kind " person! He always made me laugh as he described his daily events and predicaments! He could tell you where all the deals were as well as where the good food was. Keith knew how to live for less and loved to tell everyone how to do it too! I have never known anyone who enjoyed life more...that's why it is so sad that he is gone. I miss him already and I pray for God to sustain and support all of you who are grieving this loss., most of all my friend, his wife, Tammy.
Tammy I’m so sorry for your loss, my prayers go out to you and your family.  Sorry I’m unable to attend the service but I’ll be thinking of you.  With sincere sympathies.

My cousin, Keith, and I have been in communication for the past 8-10 years. We’ve had many conversations about our dads and our families and many other things. I feel so blessed to have had our family bond. I love how Keith was always so genuine and real. There was nothing ever put on or fake about him. He loved his family, his country, and above all, his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

When I would ask about the pain, and all the rest he had been dealing with for the past few years, he never complained. He stayed so strong; I can’t imagine how brave he was. I thought it was amazing that throughout his battle with cancer, he did not stop living and enjoying life, he continued to do the things he loved to do. I’m so glad that he lived near a lake, had a boat and terrific little dog. Those all gave him so much joy.

His strong faith in God helped him to courageously face the most difficult years of his life. He tried so hard to survive the cancer, he worshiped God, prayed often, fought hard, kept on going, kept positive thoughts, and at the same time, he continued to enjoy his family and enjoy life. It says a lot about a man when he has three children who love and adore him, who were always there for him, and especially during his last week on earth, surrounding him with love and support. Keith is a good man who was truly loved, a man of great character.

I was so happy when he and Tammy were married two years ago. What a blessing. Thank you, Tammy, for loving my dear cousin and taking such wonderful care of him during this tough time.

I send my deepest sympathy and love to Tammy and her family, to MacKenzie, Christopher and Melaina and to Keith’s dear grandchildren. May God comfort you with His peace.

And so, we grieve, but definitely not as those without hope. Keith knew Jesus, walked with Him and I know for sure that as he entered into Heaven, he heard the words………” Well done, good and faithful servant.

With love, Donna

Keith has been a very dear friend for many of us for over fifty years.  We have kept in close contact over the last two decades.  He will be greatly missed!!

My thoughts, prayers and love continue to be with each of you!

Rest In Peace Keith.

Keith messaged me one day out of the blue. He said it would be hilarious if we friended each other and messed with people and it was. Some took a lot longer to catch on and it became a source of joy and laughter. We thought it would be great to get together one day, fish, and tell stories of our lives to each other. I will miss his sense of humor, even from a distance and one day I'm sure we will cross paths in a better place. One where neither of us will have cancer and the laughter and joy will be eternal. From one Keith to another, peace my friend.
