Keith's obituary
Keith Nickerson, 71, of Tucson, AZ, passed away peacefully in his home on November 9, 2022.
Keith was born on January 5, 1951, to Albert and Doris Nickerson in New Raymer, CO. In 1971, he moved to Tucson, AZ where he lived his whole life.
During his life, Keith found joy in many different things. Keith was a force of nature with the heart of an inventor. His passion for precision woodworking and clockmaking can be seen and admired through the many awe inspiring pieces he left behind. As a pilot and flying instructor, Keith found a true love for flying and the beautiful view from above. Later in life he made stunning custom billiard cues, and enjoyed playing pool competitively with his wife, Marlene, and many close friends.
His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was enormously proud of his seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Megan, Alison, Emily, Mia, Ella and Chase, and loved each of them dearly.
Keith was predeceased by his father, Albert, his mother Doris, and his sister Linda. He is survived by his wife Marlene, his sister Patricia, and his two sons Eric, married to Christina Wood and Michael, married to Gina Folino; all reside in Tucson, AZ.
The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Hudgel’s Funeral Home at 1335 S. Swan Rd.
There will be an open memorial service at Hudgel’s on Friday, Dec. 2, 2022 at 11:00am with a reception to follow at Pockets -1062 S. Wilmot Rd. at 1:00pm. All are welcome to attend and bring your Nickerson Cue, if you’ve got one.
