>Keith was born in Ogden,Utah to Carl Henry Mietus and Noel Carol Mietus on January 10, 1961.He grew up in Sunset Utah, and attended Sunset elementary,Sunset JR. high, and graduated from Clearfield High School in 1979. Keith worked for Smith’s for about twenty years, and while working for them he transferred first to Wyoming, and later to Las Vegas where he met and married Christina Grittini, on April 15,1991. Although Keith thought he would never settle down and have kids, following the birth of his daughters, he was quoted saying, “he didn’t know what his purpose was on earth was until he had his girls”.
Keith loved going on the annual camping and fishing trip Panguitch, Utah. Working in the yard, riding his scooter and bikes, playing poker, and listening to politics on his phone.
Keith was hard working, and loved to joke and tease, but underneath all the teasing he was the most kind and generous person. He dearly loved his wife, kids, grandchildren, and dogs, and not necessarily in that order. He will be truly missed by all.
Keith is survived by his wife Christina; his children; Paige (Adam) Wheeler, and Hailey (Mason) Figueroa; grandchildren;Brinlee and Oliver; siblings; Suzanne (Reed) Olsen and Shawn Mietus.
Keith is preceded in death by his father, Carl Henry Mietus; his mother Noel Carol Mietus; his brother Dale Mietus, and his baby brother Curtis Mietus.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 18th at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on 5900 s. 3100 w. Roy,Utah. A luncheon will follow the service.
