Keith's obituary
Born on February 2, 1964, in Plymouth, Indiana, Keith Lewallen, 61, was a gentle and hardworking father, brother, and son whose life was guided by faith and deep devotion to his family. He showed his love through constant presence—calling often, cheering loudly, and always making time for those he loved. His kindness, humor, and compassion were felt by everyone around him. He was deeply loved for being the life of the party—fiercely loyal, endlessly funny, and unapologetically himself.
He is survived by his parents, Nancy and Larry Lewallen; his siblings, Jenifer Melgaard and Eric Lewallen; his daughter, Emily Lewallen; and his many nieces and nephews, including Jack (Kara) Melgaard, Matthew (Megan) Melgaard, Caroline Melgaard, and Josh, Patrick, and Addisyn Lewallen.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Jordan Lewallen. Anchored by his faith, he held fast to the hope of reunion, and we find comfort in believing he is now reunited with Jordan in Heaven.
Our time with Keith Lewallen will forever remain one of life’s greatest blessings. His passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who loved and knew him.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Macedonia United Methodist Church in Lexington, North Carolina. A Celebration of Life will follow, with a luncheon at the Spirit Hall within the church. Address information is provided on the website.
