I 1st met Keith and his lovely wife at the Dayton Hamevention with Bill Brown (wb8elk). Fast forward to 2023 (the last time I saw him) there were  Hamventions, GPSL's , dinners, geocache findings and many fun activities with them.  A mentor of several topics, Keith was a special person and I am honored to call him my friend.

I was a colleague of Keith in MSP Reservations for North Central/Republic Airlines but he was  also hired by my husband, Steve ( in another department) and this story is from 3 of them , hunting. Steve, Jim and Keith went bow and arrow hunting at Camp Ripley. Steve said they always enjoyed the excursions. But one time, Keith just quickly deceided to shoot his arrow upward towards the sky. Ok! What goes up must come down and they could not see it. What the heck Keith, both screamed? Where was it going to fall and on who? As it fell to earth, away from the group (thank goodness) Keith looked over at Steve and Jim and both were pointing their bow and arrow at Keith. ( just in case) . It made a good story for   years and laughter followed, but I think it took a few years. Steve told me this story  yesterday and he did laugh. A good memory. Yup, that was Keith. Random acts and quick.

This is part of what we published to the Mo-Kan Regional Council of Amateur Radio Organizations:

Keith was a great guy! He was a very active Ham, and was involved in Scouting, and many public service events. I first met him at the World War I Museum Special Events which he frequently participated in. While representing Scouting, he was one of the Charter Members of the Mo-Kan Regional Council, where he had a seat on Mo-Kan's Board of Directors. Many of you will recall that Keith was the recipient of the 2022 Eagle Award in recognition of his development of Net Control Manager, an application used for logging and managing radio nets and events. https://mokancouncil.org/WA0T…

when it comes to Amateur Radio, I can only scratch the surface when it comes to describing all of the great things Keith accomplished and was involved in.Peace to Keith's family.  Know that he will be very much missed by all of us...

The oral interview I did with him this year can be found here.  We never quite finished it.  It was still on my weekly reminders, but sure glad we got this part done.  Highly recommend to others.

Thank you so much for putting this together, dear daughter. It is nice to have a place to share more of his many funny or wonderful stories.  It is very healing for me.

I'm so sorry for the loss of Keith. I'll always think of him whenever I think about scouting. I recall he reserved the URL 'worldspan.com' before the company even knew they needed it!
