It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Keith Hanson Jr., a man of remarkable character and generosity. Keith transitioned from this life on January 1, 2025. Born in 1948, his life was a testament to the power of dedication, intelligence and a keen sense of humor.
He is survived by his beloved children, Christopher Hanson, Mark Hanson, and Crystal Lombardi. Keith's unwavering love and support also reached his cherished brother, Mike Hanson, his dear sister, Brenda Palmer, and his beloved niece, Chelsea Palmer. He was predeceased by his parents, Darlene Hanson and Keith Hanson Sr.
As an attendee at Toastmasters International, Keith showcased his intelligence and wit, always leaving a lasting impression on others.
Keith's sense of curiosity and desire for learning was infectious. He took great pleasure in immersing himself and others in cultural experiences, taking frequent trips to the zoo, museums, and the Ronald Reagan Library with his children and grandchildren. He was also a familiar face at The Sportsman, his favorite local spot.
Keith's charming and humorous personality could light up any room. His generosity knew no bounds, and his witty commentary could always incite a laugh or a thoughtful conversation. Keith always expressed the importance of being present in the moment and emphasized the value of continuous learning, lessons which he lived by and passed on to those around him.
One of his greatest accomplishments was his successful real estate business. However, Keith often expressed that his proudest achievements were the relationships he nurtured with his children and grandchildren.
Keith Hanson Jr. leaves behind a legacy of embracing life to the fullest and treasuring family and friends above all else. He will be sorely missed, yet his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
