Keith's obituary

Keith Walter Gnagey, 77, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2024. He was born on January 15, 1947, in Meyersdale, PA to Walter and Fern Gnagey.

Keith lived a fulfilling life characterized by his career as an educator, coach, band director and painter. Cheering on the Steelers, playing golf, cruising, and spending time with family and friends was how Keith enjoyed spending his retirement.

Keith will be dearly missed by his wife Patsy of 55 years, Chris, and Eric, his two sons, Kathleen, his sister as well as all of his other beloved family members, countless friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives he’s touched.

Respecting Keith’s wishes, in lieu of a funeral the family will be hosting a celebration of life where family and friends can join together to share stories and memories of how Keith brought joy, kindness and inspiration to all who knew him. Details will be provided once arrangements have been solidified. May he rest in peace.
