Keith's obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Keith Floyd, a son, and father on March 26, 2024. Keith was born on May 25, 1968, his life was a testament to the love and happiness he brought into the world.
Keith is survived by his son, Tyler Thornton (Ashley Thornton), his grandsons Knox and Parker, and his girlfriend, Annette Thomason. He is also survived by his mother, Linda Denison, his father, Larry Floyd, and his step-mother, Betty Floyd. Each of Keith's relationships was filled with love, respect, and mutual affection. He remained a pillar of emotional strength and support for his family until his last breath.
Sports and recreational activities were a significant part of Keith’s life. He was an ardent fan of Clemson Tigers and loved to spend time watching NASCAR races. His favorite spot to enjoy these races was at the Greenville Pickens Speedway, an arena that holds some of his family's and friends' fondest memories. These fun-filled times, imbued with laughter, joy, and camaraderie will forever be cherished.
A memorial service to celebrate Keith's life will be held on April 7, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Victory Chapel Baptist Church, 9 S Pine Lake Cir. Greenville, SC 29605. We invite those who knew and loved Keith to join us, to share stories and remember a man who was so full of life and who made such a significant impact on those around him.
As we mourn the loss of Keith, we acknowledge the fragility of life and the irresistible force of time. In remembering him, we do not merely mourn his passing but celebrate his life. The memories of his love, laughter, and kindness will forever be cherished. As a lasting gift, Keith's body has been donated to the advancement of science and education.
