El Paso

I met Keith, through my husband, Robert Johnson. They were upper Valley boys and their families grew up together. Keith was a very giving and thoughtful man. One of my favorite memories, and it shows what kind of person he was, he had called Robert and told him to put the dogs inside and a little while later this loud noise these huge lights were coming in our alfalfa filled around the house, my two daughters came in scared to death thinking it was some monster ! It was just Keith coming to spray for mosquitoes. He was always thinking of other people. He was a blessing to us in so many ways. I know Robert greeted him at the gate and they have seen some wonderful things together.🙏 much love, Resa and Cassie Johnson and Lexi Eagle.

We are deeply sorry for your loss.  Keith will certainly be missed as our friend,  a valley farmer,  and an example of a good man forever in our hearts.

My condolences to Keith's family. I first met Keith when we were both in 7th grade at Morehead. Over the years I have spent a lot of time with Keith. First with his parents at the farm on Westside Dr. Keith was probably the hardest working person I’ve ever known. I remember one cold winter day when Keith was on their Farmall tractor. It very cold but he had put some canvas bags down the sides of the tractor to stay warm. Another time he was telling me how happy he was that his tractor had really good lights. He could now drive his tractor from 6am until midnight.

It was sometimes hard to get him to go on trips because he would sometimes decide that he had too much work on the farm.  The first trip I can remember was the senior trip to Disneyland in 1971. Over the years we did go on ski and camping trips

Keith was always ready to help others when they needed help. He got this and his work ethic from his mom and dad (Della and Kent Deputy).

He was the type of person that when they come into your life. Your life is changed for the better.

Keith will be missed by many people.

Keith and his sister Christy were a huge part of my childhood. I will always regard him as one of the most special people I ever known. He will be miss by so many,  my condolences go to all the  family.
We are heartbroken.  Keith smile, his willingness  to help, his tractors or trucks  driving on the valley, his unique baseball cap. We miss all of it.  May those beautiful and perfect cotton fields in heaven keep him busy and still smiling!🙏🏼May the memories of his diligent, productive, full of purpose and love life, be a comfort to his wife and children. All of God’s blessings to them in this sad time.

No better day than riding in the truck with Keith and Lola  inspecting farms and being taught valuable lessons in life and land.  Heartbroken.

Our deepest condolences to the Deputy Family. May he rest in peace. 🙏   May dad is waiting with a beer for you  up there🥺
I am so sorry to hear of Keith's passing.  We had so much fun every summer in Ruidoso at the New Mexico Cotton Ginners meeting, especially playing golf, it's where I learned it was cool to wear jeans on the golf course.   Keith encouraged and supported me more than he could ever know.   He was one of the very best people in the cotton industry and he will be sorely missed.

We are sorry to hear about Keith’s passing.  We have so many fond memories of him in our Supima Days.  San Antonio and New Orleans stand out for some of the best times.  He always made our experience that much better.  RIP Keith, until we see you again in heaven.

Rest in Peace! We will miss the waving as we passed each other on Hwy 28 and other farm roads in the valley. Of course  also all the help you gave us on our farms over the years.
