I am so hurt as is everyone that knew Keith. From the day we met we became good friends. Keith was a very inspiring individual who cared for everyone wherever he went. Keith would make it known to everyone he wanted to make them happy. I’m so glad I was able to be fortunate enough to see him one more time when I had come to AZ for a visit to my family. I knew he was going home from the hospital the next day and we had the chance to chat once again. I will always remember his big heart and of course his loving smile that made each of us happy, Wanda and I along with the rest of my family will always cherish the memories. Much love and God Bless!…LTJ

There are so many wonderful memories I have with Mr. Beatty. One of my greatest memories is when every time the song “Victory” came on by Yolanda Adams, he would get so into it singing and bopping to it as we would be driving or wherever we may have been. The joy he had inside every time this song came on brought so much joy to me to the point where I remember it so vividly even many years later! No matter what it was we were doing or talking about he was always such a joy and pleasure to be around. Mr. Beatty treated me as if I was truly his daughter and always stood by my side!

One thing I love about him is his love for everyone no matter what. He was all about showing true authentic love to all those he encountered. I was blessed to have him in my life and witness a man who was like Jesus in the way he loved children. Any child around Mr. Beatty was always the happiest because as they say a child can sense when someone loves them. He was a child magnet and loved to have fun! On the same note of having fun, he would love challenges and making people compete. This brought him so much joy to watch and it was funny how into it he would get while instigating the whole event (all for fun).

No matter what the memory is whether it be going out to eat with 20 people, heartfelt conversations, or just sitting and laughing, it was always great. He will always be special to me and always remembered for the awesome man he was!

My lasting memory of him now will be when I recently saw him in rehab and he held my hand with love the whole time we were talking. Mr. Beatty, you will live on in my heart forever. I love you!
