Keenan Andrew Dakes passed away on Wednesday October11, 2017 at the age of 30. He was born in Decatur, AL to Monica Samuels and Karl Dakes but moved to Birmingham, AL where he resided to attend Miles College. He was a loving father, son, brother, and friend and loved family. He is survived by his son Kaleb Dakes , his parents Monica Samuels and Karl Dakes, brother, Jeremy (Beatrice) Dakes and Sister, Michelle (Mark ) Holmes. He had 3- nieces and 3- nephews and many aunts and uncles. He was an all around guy that enjoyed sports, food, and good company. The celebration of Keenan's life will be at his hometown Decatur, AL and held at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 11:00 am and officiated by Dr. Edward L. Owens Pastor.
