Kaylob Engstrom was born in Fairfax, Virginia on November 27, 1997, to Erik and Jennifer. From an early age, Kaylob brought energy, humor, and a competitive spirit to everything he did. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys—much to the good‑natured frustration of many in his family—and he loved sports, especially basketball and football.

Kaylob excelled in athletics and could often be found outside shooting hoops for hours. His talent on the court …
