My condolences goes out to her family and friends.

I really miss my sweet, sweet neighbor

Our sincerest condolences for the loss of this beautiful soul. May she rest in piece. ❤️

I’m so sorry. I love Kay so intensely, even though we drifted apart in our adult lives. I’m truly sorry for your loss and I am sending love and prayer.

Would appreciate to know when the memorial in TN comes if that’s ok.

Love Kay so much, what a beautiful generous friend she was to me in our formative years. She had a profound impact on my life. Funny, sharp, loving. She is missed and still deeply loved and respected.

We would like to express our sincere condolences to you and your family.

Kay,

We still miss you in the Lobby. I really wish we would have had gotten the opportunity to take our vacation together. You would be happy to know that I'm living life more, as you and Valerie suggested numerous times. I still have your Hello Kitty coffee mug at my house, along with your photo on my fridge. I hope you're resting easy in the arms of the Father. I'll never forget you and I pray that God sends healing to your family.

Hey neighbor.... I Really miss you,  we kept the alley we shared in check. I pray for your daughter often and I've met your parents they are wonderful people. ❤️ and I'll see you when I get there.
Kay, was undoubtably the smartest, wittiest, most kind hearted and beautiful person I have ever met. Kay absolutely loved a quick witted joke. She would do this most endearing gesture after an amusing moment. She would playfully pound her fist on my shoulders and shake her head back and forth, all the while having the brightest and most beautiful rye smile. I keep thinking of the adage Kay had tattooed, “this too shall pass”. I know time is the greatest healer of loss and might someday dull the pain I feel. Moreover I find myself unequivocally grateful for the memories and moments I was blessed to have shared with Kay. They will stay with me for an eternity.
My husband plays in one of the bands that performs monthly at the Ritz. We had gotten to know Kay through these events. She was one of our favorite Ritz employees. Kay always treated us like we were her only customers. She always went above and beyond to make sure the band and their wives had what we needed. She was an exceptionally hard worker. She was fun to joke around with and always left you with a smile (on your face and hers). This past weekend we learned of Kay's horrific tragedy and were devastated by this news. We just couldn't wrap our heads around it and still can't. We will miss her greatly but feel blessed for having this awesome person in our life one weekend a month. Prayers for Kay and all who knew her.
My condolences to the very sweet and kind family of Kay. She was the best neighbor I've had in a very long time. She grew to be a friend to me. I miss her everyday.

I needed to finish a paper for school, but I ALSO desperately needed a night out with the girls. I explained to Kay that I’d have to postpone our evening. “Life is short, you’re never not going to have homework, just come out for ONE DRINK” she said with a  grin 😁  Before I could decline she exclaimed “ILL HELP YOU WRITE YOUR PAPER! 🤣 You need all the help you could get”. She was right about both statements. So there we were at Nicks Pub, Laptop on the bar, typing on the keyboard with one hand… drink in the other, rotating this laptop back forth laughing in the process. We finished and submitted the paper with 3 minutes to spare. We all high-fived and probably had one drink too many, but life is short and it was WELL WORTH IT! I also got an A on my paper! 😎 Thanks Kay! ❤️

I have been trying to formulate the words to write this message for a couple weeks. Kay was one of the most INTENSE human beings I have  ever met. Within my first week of meeting her, she made fun of me for being “too happy” 😅

At the Lobby Lounge where we worked together as servers we shared soo many incredible moments. Laughter, tears, dance breaks, snack breaks, mini melt downs and EXCESSIVE exchanges of weird noises and looks to get us through our shifts 🤣 There is and never will be anyone like Kay. I am still in disbelief, as I’m sure we all are. She was one of the HARDEST WORKING PEOPLE I’ve known. She loved genuinely, fiercely and authentically, a TRUE FRIEND. She always found the time to encourage me when I needed it and she also had the ability to snap me back to reality, when I was slipping through the cracks. Kay was always willing to help in any way that she could, an incredible team player to say the least.

I pray for her, her family and especially Evelyn EVERY DAY. I only knew Kay for the better part of a year, however her presence in my life has changed me forever. Myself and my daughter will cherish all the gifts, and crafts that she shared with us over this year. She will be fondly remembered… And GREATLY MISSED. We love you Kay ❤️
