Kathryn "Katy" Ann Brogan Obituary

Kathryn “Katy” Ann (Jackson) Brogan, 46, Floyds Knobs, IN passed away on Monday, February 12th, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on April 28 , 1977 to Frank Jackson and Rebecca “Becky” (Roberts) Jackson in Louisville, KY (they lived in Madison, Indiana).

Katy graduated from Madison Consolidated High School 1995 and then attended Purdue University where she received her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2001. She worked as a pharmacist and a pharmacy supervisor at Jewish Hospital and the University of Louisville Hospital.

Katy especially loved being a mom and was happy to devote her energy towards making her kids’ lives fulfilling. She also loved being an aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She loved to travel, attend concerts, watch cooking shows, and walk in the woods.

Katy is preceded in death by her sister, Jenny Moldenhauer.

Left to cherish her memory; husband (of 20 years), Gage Brogan; son, Eli Brogan (14); daughter Maya Brogan (14); mother, Becky Jackson; sisters, Marie Luce (Matt), and Abby Ebinger (Todd). She also will be missed by her beloved dog and napping partner, Cala.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Market Street Chapel of The Naville & Seabrook Funeral Home on Saturday, February 17 th from 2 PM – 5 PM.
