I recently discovered through family history that I am distantly related to Katrina, and I was deeply saddened to learn of their passing. Though we never met, I wanted to reach out and share my heartfelt condolences with your family. Wishing you comfort and strength in the days ahead.

Katrina was the friend you never knew you needed but so glad you had. She was always positive and worked so hard. We went to see A-Ha together. She laughed at my 'air keys'. This is so shitty. Why the Lord decides to take one like her, I will never understand or be ok with. Will miss your sweet face and your great singing. You introduced me to songs I had never heard. XOXO

I saw Katrina singing karaoke at the Distillery and was taken in by her manner and song choices.  Mellow and uplifting all around.  When eventually we got acquainted, conversation was easy and honest.  She was easy to become close to.  I will miss her.

Katrina’s loss is tragic.  She will be missed for her smile, her friendliness and her willingness to help out.   She helped light up the desert nights

I wish this wasn't true, Katrina. I hope you are at peace where you are. Thinking of you and your loved ones. - Joyce Santiago
