I am saddened to know of Katrina's  passing beyond the vail.  We met in grammar school and became instant buddies.  We had not spoken since 2023 but Katrina you were never far from my love or thoughts.  I will see you later.  Love always...from Wendy Shearer

Oh Wendy I'm so sorry to hear about your mom, this is Kim pettis, I loved your mom so much I haven't talked to her in 20 years. You know she saved my life more then once let me come stay with whenever and for as long as I wanted or in some cases needed.she truly was like a second mom to me, she loved me even when I wasn't so lovable. I found his page because I wanted to contact her I wanted to bring my 18 year old son I don't think she new I had because I did it so late in I wanted to show that really did learn so much from and it shows in my son, but more importantly I wanted my son to meet the person who taught me so much about the right things a child needs to grow up happy and healthy. I'm overwhelmed with sadness I know I should haven him many years ago I hate myself for not doing that. Wendy your mom and I talked many nights clear into the morning never doughty her love for you she always said hands down you are the best thing in her life. She and my mom were so close then wouldn't talk for years then one would call the other and they would talk and carry on like they hadn't missed a day. Please know you can always call me if you need anything or if you just need to talk my number is 916 676 3551.

I love and miss my sweet friend

Kim Pettis

I never got to meet her. But I have known her since Brillanon & I started our show back in August of 2018 on Patriot Soapbox.
In response to "How did you first meet Katrina?"
Slowly, I learned a LOT about Tina.  She was full of concern for people.  She loaned money to many folks and never asked for any of it back.  She loved the dog she didn't want at first and then that dog saved her in the desert when her car crashed.  Tina was nice to everyone, but she also demanded honesty.  She worked with a friend in D.C. to help her not loose their D.C. condo.  She could always talk to animals, (even emus!) and they would understand and love her back.  She treasured her time with folks and spent long hours chatting with them.  Tina was mistreated by some people long ago.  She didn't carry a grudge, but pressed on helping those she could.  She loved that orange cat that came to her window, and took in other animals as they crossed her path.  Tina also loved the river, her boats and the trips she would take on the back of a motorcycle with loved ones.  She very MUCH loved you, Wendy.   Thank you for this opportunity. The last time she called me was late February when I was driving back from my daughter's house in Alabama.  I had talked with her earlier when I had left, but this time she had called me when I was fighting traffic and the sun coming straight into my eyes on the freeway as I was looking for my turn.  I told her I couldn't talk just then because of the traffic and the intense sun.  I told her I would call her back or she could call me back the next day.  That was the last call I had from her.I treasure all the time in the chats and on the phone that I had.  She was one remarkable woman!
Long hours spent on the phone.   I tried to go see her last September, but she refused to let me come.  She always chased down the essence of whatever the issue.  She tried to help people and was often successful.  She will be missed.
Stoli you will be missed , You were such a huge part of the community that you helped build. Thank you for all of the memories. Your memory will live on with all of us. God Bless , We will all see you one day when we come home.  <3
Thank you, Miss Wendy, for creating this memorial for your Mother. She talked about you a lot during our record breaking phone calls. She is so proud of you. I will miss her. I will cherish our special friendship and camaraderie on Patriots Soapbox for over six years. 🥰 Ricky

So dear Stoli, strong and witty, I'm so grateful from the start to have laughed and joked and cried with you. You will remain...forever in my heart.
I will sing like no one can hear me.  Thank you for that Katrina, you inspired many and touched the heart of all who knew you. My beautiful friend.
Another kind soul has completed their mission on earth and has been scooped up into the Hands of the Father. As much as you are missed here, none of us would prefer this life to that. We will see each other again. May God bless your family at this time. 🙏🏼✝️🌹
Stoli, you were a great person. Now you are a great energy. You will be missed sweetheart. ❤
