Katie (Campbell) Stewart 81, of Westlake Ohio, formally of Hartsgrove Ohio, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 27,2025 at Avon Place in Avon Ohio.Born January 31,1944 in Ballycroy County Mayo, Ireland to the late Pete and Kate (nee Monaghan) Campbell. One of 8 children, in her teens, she traveled to America with family to see new opportunities. She was known for her big heart, generosity, her Irish accent, the love of her Irish heritage and her love for Elvis.Katie had many passions that brought joy to her life. She loved cooking, reading, debating politics, and spending time with her family, friends and especially her grandchildren.In addition to her parents, Katie is preceded in death by a dear son Jimmy Stewart, three sisters Ann Campbell, Julia Forest, Bridget Leneghan and two brothers Pete and Paddy Campbell.Surviving are three daughters: Christal Garrison (Danny), Jill Stewart, Colleen Maruna (Michael). Six grandchildren: Kaddie Oliver, Crystale Stewart, Erica Clements, Tyler Castle, Caitlin Castle and Julia Schabroni. Sister Maryellen McAndrew (Joseph), Brother Chris Campbell (Bernie) and Brother-In-Law Arthur Forest.In keeping with her wishes, a Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Mary Church 103 N. Maple Orwell, Ohio 44076 on Friday April 4,2025 at 11a.m.
