Thinking of you on your birthday… Not having you around is never going to get easier, but I’ll always treasure the time you were my boss, mentor, friend and all the times that we did get together. Nothing can ever fill the gap you left. I feel so blessed you were part of my life. “I know you’re in Heaven and that your birthday there must be way better than any party I could have thrown for you here. And maybe I’m being selfish when I say that I wish you were still here anyway. Happy heavenly birthday, Katie.”

It’s been 1 Month since my be…
It’s been 1 Month since my beautiful Aunt Katie left us to go home. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t stop and remember a great moment we shared together. Signs and Songs throughout these crazy days remind me of how special,beautiful and strong she was. Even though you are not here with us today and it’s hard….damn it’s hard! I know you are living your best life up there surrounded by so many that we have all loved along the way. Keep shining down on us💜

I didn't know you.... we never met.  We have a mutual friend that shared your story with me.... not just your death but the amazing life you lived.  It's evident that you were loved.

I did not know Katie, but after seeing all these photos and reading about the memories, she sounds like an incredible woman! Brains, beauty, and full of life! Wish I knew her. 

I first saw Megan at my daughter's high school orientation in September, where she spoke to the incoming high schoolers about the school academics, clubs, and LyceeLA Life. I was so impressed with Megan's maturity, intellect, and overall demeanor. Later, I got to meet Megan when she helped with CLUB42's homeless hygiene kit assembly event for HOUSINGMV. She was the first to volunteer, which inspired others to join in! I was thinking to myself, "wow! This girl has it all!"

But tragedy struck, and I am heartbroken over this. Megan- if you are reading this, please let me know if there is anything else you may need. You seem to have an amazing support system, and my family and I want to be there for you, too.
