Kathy passed away at her home in Hinsdale, IL, October 3rd, 2022, surrounded by her family, after a long battle with thyroid cancer.
Kathy was born in Fort Madison, Iowa in 1958 to Wilma and Martin Yurth. She and her 3 older siblings (Bruce, Stanley, and Patty) grew up around Burlington, Iowa. For high school, she attended Oak Park Academy in Nevada, Iowa.
