Kathy Iris Bowen was born on September 27, 1954 to Boyd and Darnetta Bowen. Kathy attended elementary and high school in Los Angeles, Ca. Upon completion of high school, Kathy met and married the love of her life Ted Sr., and three children were born to this union. Kathy worked as a Security Officer for several years until early retirement. Kathy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and cooking her signature "tacos". Kathy was a very witty and affectionate woman, who loved giving her niece and nephew funny nicknames. Kathy was called home on January 24, 2019 and will be missed and loved by all who knew her.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Boyd and Darnetta, sister Annette, and brother Boyd Jr.
Kathy leaves to cherish sons, Earl and Ted Jr., daughter Keisha, eleven grandchildren, sister Hester, brother Keith (LaShaun), and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
