People didn’t know Yomi was very good at everything.  She was able to cut hair; however, she did get a little too ambitious when cutting bangs.  I started looking like Baby Huey a number of times and had to wait weeks for them to grow out.  Never had to pay to get my hair cut though.
Being the next sister who followed Yomi in school was no easy task. At Marina Junior High School, once the teachers learned I was her sister, they automatically assumed I was going to be as good a student. Imagine their disappointment and surprise that we came from the same gene pool. I resented Yomi for years for that, but mom told me to get over it and move on. — Lulu
Kathy Eng was my boss and friend at SF Department of Public Health. She is one of the kindest, beautiful, intelligent lady that I have the privilege to be her friend. She mentored so many of us in the work place and someone that I looked up to from the beginning. She has the talent of balancing a demanding career and raising 5 kids at the same time. I am grateful for the opportunities she gave me working alongside her at Health at Home and Family Health Center. I will never forget Kathy Eng. She will always be in my heart♥️ My deepest condolences. May God blessed the family 🙏

Dear Kristen, Adam, Erin, Chris, and Alex.  I am so very sorry for your loss.

I worked for your mother over two decades and three different Health Department jobs.  She was smart, kind, generous and a wonderful mentor.  She spoke of you all with such pride.

My deepest sympathy to you and all of Kathy's loved ones.

Throughout her life, Kathryn was the best at what she did--in academics, athletics, raising her family, working, etc.  lt was indeed a pleasure & truly an honor to have known her since high school and to call her "my friend".     Her sense of humor, quick wit, and love of family were unsurpassed.   A very special person is gone from us too soon.
