Growing up in Farmington’s Woodbrook subdivision in the 1960's Kathleen Orofino was like my second mom, her house was my second home, and her children were like my extended family. I see that others expressed that Kathleen was like a mom to them and that is just the way she was. Even with 7 kids there was always room and a second plate for me at her table. Growing up both Andy and Mark were my best friends and Andy was the best man in my wedding. Speaking for the entire Bregni family we want to express our sorrow and condolences to Kathleen’s family. We remember her with fondness and we will keep her and the family in our prayers.

My prayers are with you. She always had a smile even at WW when it wasn’t a positive day.

I feel very lucky to have had Kathleen part of my life as well as part of my family. She fed me, gave me advice, kicked me in the butt when I needed it and I knew that she loved me! She married my Grandfather and blended her family with ours. How lucky! Andy, Karen, Colleen, Kim, Linda, Annette, Cathy, and I can’t forget Mark, and all their mates and offspring. They all became even more of a special part of my family. Kathleen was the glue that held us all together. My heart goes out to her children and her children’s children. I love all of you! We were all blessed to have a mother figure that had a heart big enough to love and protect all of us. Rest peacefully Dear Lady. You deserve it after putting up with all of us!

I think I met your mom one time years ago. She was quiet. I am sorry to hear she’s gone. Sending a big hug to you and your family!

Kathleen was like a second mother to me. She was a relative, my mom’s best friend and I was blessed to have spent many nights with her and my mom over a 5 year period when I was caretaking my mom. I will miss her dearly and she will never be far from my thoughts. But she’s with Guido, my mom and my dad. Rest in peace Kathleen, love you.

I will always be grateful for the love and advice that Ma Teneglia gave me many years ago. I always have considered her to be like a mother to me . We have truly lost a very special lady 💔
