Kathy's obituary

Kathleen "Kathy" Sieglinger, 71, of Brookhaven, NY, passed away on October 19, 2022 after a decade long battle with her health.

Kathy was born on July 08, 1951 to Arthur and Clara Straley in Jersey City, New Jersey. While attending Sayville High School  in 1966 at the age of 15 she met David Sieglinger. After graduating high school she married her high school sweetheart, Dave and went on to have 3 children, Aaron, Zachary and Shannon "Katie".

When Kathy had Aaron, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Kathy excelled at propping up her children and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Whether that was supporting Shannon through moving away to enlist in the Navy or supporting Zachary through his passion in art, she made it her mission to improve the lives of others.

Kathy was a passionate in crocheting and her love for animals and nature and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found riding around the island in their boat or exploring beautiful areas in outing's with her husband Dave. We will miss her greatly.

Kathy was predeceased by Arthur and Clara Straley. She is survived by her husband Dave, son's Aaron and Zachary Sieglinger. Her daughters Shannon Jeffreys, Kelly Sieglinger and grandchildren Zachary, Justice, Dove and Meadow Sieglinger and Charlotte Jeffreys. Her brothers Danny and Sandy Straley. The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Robertaccio Funeral Home. There will be a visitation service at Robertaccio Funeral Home on October 30, 2022 between the hours of 4PM and 8PM at 85 Medford Ave, Patchogue, NY 117722.
