Kathleen's obituary
Kathleen Muller went home to be with Jesus on May 21, 2023 at age 75 while surrounded by her husband and children at George C. Forsythe Hospice in Auburndale, Florida.
Kathleen was born to Edward and Mildred McCullough on September 14, 1947 in Princeton, Indiana. Kathleen is survived by her husband, Tony; daughter, Ann Muller of Davenport, Florida; son, Mike Muller and wife Gina Muller of Benton, Kentucky; grandchildren, Rebekah Quarles and husband Austin, Sarah Muller, and Benjamin Guzinski; brothers, Michael and Edward McCullough; sisters, Vicki Goergen and Margaret Guth. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, John McCullough; and sister, Maureen McCullough.
Kathleen grew up in Princeton until 1951, moved to Vincennes, Indiana, then settled in Evansville, Indiana in 1962. Kathleen graduated from Reitz Memorial High in Evansville in 1965. Her brother Michael introduced her to her husband Anthony in 1966. They married in 1967 and went on to have 2 children, Mike and Ann.
Kathy was the initiating administrator for the T.R.I.P. program in Evansville, which provided public transportation to low income families. She was later an administrator for H.O.P.E. of Evansville, providing renovation and home-owning opportunities for low income families. She also worked in the office of Congressman Frank McCloskey. Kathy was an H&R Block tax consultant later until retirement. Having been snowbirds for years, Kathy and Tony moved to Davenport, Florida, in 2019. Kathy became a certified Master Gardener in her retirement.
Kathy and Tony gave their lives to Christ in 1984 and were thereon dedicated to pursuing God’s will. She was active in her church, Ridge Assembly of God, and the church's senior group, The Sonlighters. She held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.
Families are invited to celebrate Kathy’s life at Ridge Assembly of God at 41219 US Hwy 27, Davenport, Florida. The celebration service will be held on Tuesday June 6, 2023 at 1:00 PM. Flowers can be sent to the Ridge Assembly of God. Donations can be made to Ridge Assembly of God Children’s Ministry in memory of Kathy.
