When we moved in our house in 1978 we knew who the people next door were because Kathy was the sister of our friend John. Tony and Kathy immediately were our friends too. Their son became friends with our son and their daughter became friends with our daughter. Let's just say they were perfect neighbors. Always there to help, to hang out , or come over to visit. It was really fun to visit in Florida. We always had so much fun geocaching. We shared laughs, tears, and prayers. I look at my yard and remember when Kathy gave me a start of that plant or a fish decoration or a souvenir from Disney. We were sad when after 41 years they bid farewell to Saint James Blvd. But happy they could be full-time Floridians. Kathy will always hold a special place in my heart. She was so caring and smart and funny. Praying for comfort for her special Muller/McCullough families.
Kathy was a fantastic woman. Kind, funny, quirky and smart. She was a loving wife , mother, and Nana. I am happy my life crossed path with hers. She will be missed by many.
I met Kathy while being employed as a Salvation Army Officer and she was working at Hope in Evansville, IN. When I took a leave of absence from the SA, both Kathy and Tony invited me to stay with them until I was able to find a place of my own. They allowed not only me to come and stay, but my beloved cat B. When B passed, I was able w/ the help of Tony and Kathy to have a memorial service, and place to lay her to rest, in area of their yard. Thank you, as I t was a blessing for me to be part of your lives, as well as your families. I am ever so grateful. It was an important time of my life. I learned a lot, had fun taking a trip to FL, I have a heart that is filled w/ good memories. God provided you (Kathy) &Tony, Michael and Annie. Your family is important and am grateful for all the ways the Lord used you both in my life. God is good, and All the time God is good. Amen, Love & Prayers, Debbie Swearingen ❤️🙏🏼
