Kathleen McMillan, aged 71, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2025, in North Carolina with her beloved husband, Dean, by her side.

Born on June 22, 1954, in Barberton, Ohio, Kathleen was the cherished daughter of Stephen and Mary Havericak. She grew into a woman whose kindness, generosity, and joyful spirit touched everyone who knew her.

Kathleen is survived by her loving husband, Dean; her daughter Pamela and son-in-law Andrew Thompson; her daughter Sara McMillan; and her son Daniel McMillan. She was a devoted grandmother to four grandchildren—Lucy, Finley, and Michael Thompson, and Lincoln McMillan—each of whom brought her tremendous pride and happiness.

Kathleen will be remembered for her boundless compassion and her gift for making others feel valued and cared for. She shared her talents freely, whether through her beautiful sewing, her cherished traditional Slovak dishes, or her ability to bring warmth and laughter into any room. Her family will forever hold close the memories of her creativity, her gentle guidance, and her unwavering love.

Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Sunday, December 21st at 5:00 pm, followed by a reception at Massey’s in Grove City.

Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital in Kathleen’s memory.
