Kathleen's obituary
Kathleen (Boogk) Deloras Jackson July 5th, 1959 - December 29th, 2024
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Kathy, who left us far too soon. Kathy is preceded in death by her sons Frank Jackson Sr., Jeremiah Hawkins and great grandson Leo Gregory Jackson. She was the wife of William (Bill) H. Jackson III, who loves her very much and will miss her dearly. Kathy was the mother of Virginia Crocie (Jeremy), Arthur Willey (Nicole), Thomas Stewart, Matthew Cassidy Jr. (Kelsey), Krystin Evans (Brandon), Brian Lehman (Quy’Asia), and stepmother to Rich Jackson Sr. (Candace), William H. Jackson IV, and Brooke Jackson. She was a grandmother of 36 and a great grandmother of 12. In addition, she is survived by 2 sisters, Doreen Stewart and Lorraine Stewart and brother, Jeffrey Stewart. Her family will miss her tremendously.
Boogk, (as we all lovingly know her), was a force to be reckoned with! She was a woman of immense strength and unwavering love for both God and family. She faced the challenges of life as they were thrown at her with grace. She could turn any situation into a memorable moment. Kathy had a fierce love for her husband Bill and always put the needs of her children and grandchildren above all else. She was a woman who loved with every fiber of her being, and you could feel it! Kathy was able to make everyone feel comfortable and was there for you when you needed advice or just wanted to talk. She was always able to make you laugh, especially when you needed it the most! She was also a woman who loved music. Kathy came from a musical family and introduced it to her children young so they could appreciate it as much as she did. Some of her favorites were Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, Whitney Houston, CCR, and anything in between.
Her presence is still felt by all she has left behind and knowing she is surrounded by her siblings, children and great grandchild fills our hearts with great happiness even though we are all left with a giant void in our hearts. We all miss and love you forever and always.
Until we meet again…
Rest easy Boogkie Bear!
