Remembering Kathy with a smile on my face. I'll continue to pray for your family.

My memories of Kathy revolve around laughter and friendship. She always knew how to find the humor in a situation. I loved her laugh, it was a contagious one. She was such a good friend to me when my mom was so sick, I'll never forget that. When we first met, we found that she taught my younger sister with special needs. As most people know, Kathy was an advocate who wanted the best for her students. She sure knew how to connect with them.

Michael,
I had so much fun working with your mom in Ocean City. She had the best laugh ever, it was contagious! I always have a smile on my face when I think of her. In her earlier career, she actually taught my younger sister, Trish, at Atlantic County Special Services in the cooking program. We became friends when she started working at the Intermediate School in Ocean City. There was no greater advocate for special education students than Kathy. She was a great teacher and very caring friend. I continue to pray for you and your family.

Hello Mike ,
I apologize for not responding sooner. I owned the townhouse next to her on Asbury Road. Kathleen and I got along so well. She was such a wonderful person, we were instant friends. She loved you. And was so proud of you and her granddaughters.
Sending prayers and hugs.

Kathleen was a dear friend of mine for the past ten years. I miss her so much. We shared weekly girl night out and was such a fun person with a heart of gold. She did not want to burden you with her problems but always listened and tried to help out with mine. May she rest in peace and her memory will not be forgotten.

My heart is broken. She was a loving, warm, funny, generous, kind hearted woman and mother. All she wanted was the best for her sons. In a lot of cases life isnt fair but God has gained a wonderful angel. I will miss her terribly. Please accept our deepest sympathies. Bless you Kate and know you did all you could. 😢💖

Mike, so sorry to hear of your loss. As a parent of a special needs child who also has attended many special needs proms, i know how meaningful and impactful that is to families. I hope you and your family take peace in the fact she is at a better place where I suspect she is looking down with great pride in her family!

It's always difficult to lose a family member. We have fond memories of spending time each summer down at the shore with you and your Mom. She always invited us to come, and of course, we took advantage of that opportunity. She was so much fun to be around. We had many laughs throughout the years. I always admired her for her style and fashion. There wasn't a time when she didn't look great. She was a very good mother to you guys. She did whatever she could for you and Joe. The loss of Pop really took a toll on her and then after Gram. She did the best she could to take care of her. The good memories will always stay in our hearts. So, so sorry, Mike for you and your family. Rest in peace, Kathleen.
Love you, Aunt Barb and Uncle Rich

What a beautiful tribute to your Mom, Kathleen. Quite a number of years has passed but we have memories of enjoyable times with Kathleen, the first coming to mind were on the beach in Ocean City. Sending our condolences to you and your family.
