Kathleen's obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kathleen DeCicco, born on December 22, 1941, who departed this life on December 1, 2024. Her life was a living testament to love, warmth, and resilience. She was a beloved mother, sister, and friend who left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Kathleen was the cherished mother to her sons Allan   DeCicco ,James a DeCicco jr.and his spouse Dody, and Joseph DeCicco and his spouse Anita. And her grandchildren James a DeCicco III ,Meghan Morris Wade DeCicco, Kierstie and a predeceased grandson Lane Decicco,Their shared memories and bonds of love are a testament to Kathleen's loving spirit and dedication to her family. She was a supportive and loving sister to her surviving siblings Larry and Thomas DeCicco, Sharon Humphrey, and Lynda Kahrs. The fond memories they created with Kathleen will be forever engraved in their hearts.

Kathleen was predeceased by her siblings Diane, Vincent, and Michael DeCicco and her devoted husband, James DeCicco Sr. Their love and memories lives on through the rich and vibrant life Kathleen led.

As an attendee at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Kathleen found comfort and fellowship. Her involvement with the Red Hatters also brought her joy and meaningful relationships. She was known for her infectious laughter, the twinkle in her eyes, and her ability to lift the spirits of those around her.

A woman of many interests, Kathleen loved the thrill and excitement of game shows, often drawing her family into her enthusiasm. She found pleasure in playing games, especially bingo which she often played with her friends and family. Kathleen was always up for a challenge and found fun in remaining active through bowling. Her zest for life was contagious and will be deeply missed.

Kathleen's passing leaves a void in our hearts and lives that cannot be filled. However, the love, wisdom and humour she shared will live on in the hearts of all that were lucky enough to know her. Even though she is gone, she will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Kathleen.
