I was shocked and saddened ] when I heard the news of Kathleen's passing. She was always a great friend and we shared a lot of fun times together. She was one of the sweetest people I have ever known and I know how deeply she loved her family. I am so sorry for your loss and I hope that all your wonderful memories will give you peace. My prayers are with you all at this time. I will miss her. ❤️🙏🏻

Kathy was a kind, generous and supportive friend who put other’s needs above her own. She was always eager to share her time whether it was for a cup of coffee, reaching out with a phone call, or hosting soccer pasta night. I will always remember the times we shared preparing for pasta night, her trip chaperoning a bus full of 5th graders with my husband to Vanderbilt Museum (miraculous) and her generosity and kindness to my son. She displayed depth of character and sincerity with anyone she encountered. Above all I will remember her wish for happiness for her children and for herself. Kathy was as proud as a mother could be and was always ready and eager to share her children’s joy. Kathy shared her enthusiasm and hope for her future and all it might offer her. I will think of her now as reaching beyond the constraints of this earth as a free spirit realizing the fullness of a life well lived and watching over her family. I wish for her children to be lifted out of their sadness in all the memories and love she gave them.

I love seeing these wonderful pictures of Kathy and her beautiful family. We were High School friends who lost touch in our 30’s after I moved away, but we recently reconnected. I’m so happy to see what an amazing and devoted mom she was, but so sad that I missed the opportunity to reconnect for so many years. I can tell she touched many people’s lives. Such a heartbreaking loss.

I hope you lived each day to the fullest.
You left many people, a tremendous amount of people, heartbroken. If you have the power, please lessen their heartbreak and rejoice in that “you were”

I can't believe my loving sister is no longer with us. I know that my dad was the first Angel at Heaven's gate to welcome my sister home with open arms, kisses and hugs. The emotional roller coaster I've been on is so intense and heartbreaking but it comforts me to know that she is at peace. There are too many fond memories I have of my sister that I wouldn't even know where to begin or which ones to tell. My heart is broken and there is no cardiac surgeon that can repair it. Not a day will go by where I won't think of my sister, talk to my sister and yes, shed some tears. Kathy, you are an AMAZING sister, daughter and mother to Bryan, Kyle, Kristine and Douglas. I will ALWAYS love you and cherish our times together. May you rest in peace and keep smiling down on us. Until we meet again...hugs and kisses :-)

I was a new mother with my oldest daughter Maggie. I heard a knock on the door and Kathy was standing there with her daughter Kristine asking if I wanted to form a playgroup for our kids and invited me over. After a year the Imperial Drive playgroup grew to about 15 kids and 6 moms who got together weekly. Kathy was a great mom who I learned so much from. Her kind and loving interactions with her own kids and the others was unmatched. She will be greatly missed by anyone who she touched.
