My dear sister. I miss you dreadfully. You were always so generous with your time and gift cards! Ha! I'll never forget you driving to Tampa to pick up Grace and Eivind and Emily and Erin so you could take them all to the beach!  That's the kind of Aunt and Sister, Mother and Friend you were.  I love you!
Kathy and I taught together at Maximo elementary. She always was laughing, so missed. I’m so sorry Elizabeth be strong. (Coach Kenney)
My prayers to the family and friends.  While I didn’t know Kathy, I grew up down the street from the family and attended Pasadena Elementary in the 60’s.

I met Kathy while our kids were in band at Osceola High.  This is so sad.  My condolences to Elizabeth and all of Kathy's family.
I had the joy of having Mrs. Pennington as my kindergarten teacher. She pushed me to be the strong independent woman that I am today. I can truly say with a full heart of love that I would not be the person that I am today without her. You will be missed and I hope you rest eternally in heaven. We know that you will still continue to watch over all of the little ones in heaven and teach them all that you have taught me. Thank you Mrs. Pennington, we will miss you so much ❤️❤️

My deepest sympathy to all the family on the loss of Kathy. She was a wonderful teacher and person.  I’m so grateful my daughter had the joy of being one of her Kindergarten kids at Pasadena.  She will be so missed and forever present in the memories of her students and their parents.
I am shocked and sad to hear of Kathy’s passing.  I grew up with Kathy at Garden Crest Presbyterian Church.   We spent our childhood years together at Youth Club every Wednesday.  She was a loving person and a dedicated teacher.  Sending love and prayers to the family and her dear daughter.  Rest peacefully in paradise Kathy.  💜
We just heard tonight of Ms Pennington’s passing. We are heartbroken. Our son Jack counts her as his favorite teacher of all time. As a parent I had total confidence in her skill and the way she ran her class. What a huge loss for the community and for her family.  We are thinking of you all.
While I did not know Kathy very well as neither of my children had her as a teacher. I did know her from seeing her around the school and out in public. She was always a happy and smiling person with kind words and a warm hug for the kids. I know she will be greatly missed both by her family and her school family. My sincere condolences for your sudden loss.
