What a beautiful person your mom was...inside & out. We knew each other in high school but lost touch over the years. What I remember about your mom, other than how much fun she was, is the feeling of welcome that was inside of her home growing up. There was always a lot of activity in the house, cooking, good food and the feeling of love. We were in clubs together at Glenbard East, she in cheerleading, me in pom poms, great fun at pep rallies and basketball games. She made an impact on our world as a genuine, giving person, filled with joy and love. She will be missed. Sending blessings to your family as you go thru this time of healing.

Kathy’s adult children, My deepest prayers for your strength with your mother’s passing; may memories and photographs keep her close to your hearts and souls. I was a cheerleader with Kathy at GE. Also, Kathy assisted an adult student whom earlier I taught in grades1-3, completing an intake at the Cedar Springs Drug Addiction Center in CO SPRGs years ago. I appreciated her skill and knowledge. I have not seen Kathy for a very long time; however, Kathy remains a part of my heart. Her athletic abilities far surpassed the rest of our cheerleading squad. God Bless Kathy and her family. Her legacy lives forward through her adult children and beyond.
