Katherine's obituary
Kathy spent time living in Michigan Center, and then moved to Ann Arbor, Mi, where she thrived and spent time with good friends Sherri Squire, Carol Kruise, Rick Dobberstein, and her cousins Constance, Carmen, Mark and Rosie, and Kelly (Sean & Kai).
Kathy was very happy that she was able to spend time working for the University of Michigan (Go Blue!), and she was also proud of the volunteer work she did with the Red Cross. Kathy touched many hearts and helped many souls along her way.
Kathy spent her final days in Northville, Michigan, surrounded by her good friends and family.
Kathy was preceded in death by her sister Roxanne Reske (1951), her mother Susanna Reske-Hoover (2004), her father Donald Hoover (2009), her brothers Edmund and Donald Hoover, her beloved pup Shelby, and the many other four-legged friends Kathy so loving saw pass over the rainbow bridge.
Kathy is survived by her doting Aunt Catherine Reske, eldest cousin and loving father figure Edward John Reske III, caring nephew Eric Hoover (and family), and a plethora of Reske extended family who will miss her contagious smile and joyful laughter.
Burial is open to the public and will be at 10:30am on Saturday, June 19th at Glen Eden Cemetery on 8 Mile Road in Livonia. A social distanced, outdoor wake will immediately follow at Rotary Park in Livonia.
