Katherine's obituary

Katherine Alison Gilbert, known affectionately as Kathy, graced this world with her presence on October 18th, 1976, in Flagstaff, Arizona. On September 1st, 2023, Kathy's journey on this earthly plane came to an unexpected and tragic end. She passed away in a car crash, leaving behind a void that can never be filled.

Kathy's life was a testament to resilience and love. She moved to Phoenix, Arizona, as a child, where she would later meet and marry her high school sweetheart, Bill. Their love story was one for the ages, and it resulted in a beautiful family. Kathy and Bill were blessed with three wonderful children: Michael, Jason, and Catalina. Her devotion to her family was unwavering, and her love for them knew no bounds.

In 1994, Kathy achieved a remarkable milestone when she graduated at the top of her class in grade twelve. It was a testament to her intellect, determination, and commitment to excellence. But Kathy's greatness extended beyond academic achievements. She was a proud and patriotic American, always displaying her unwavering support for her country. Her loyalty and dedication were an inspiration to all who knew her.

In 2022, Kathy embarked on a new adventure, briefly residing in Colorado before making her way to Burlington, Vermont, later that year. Her adventurous spirit and willingness to embrace change were qualities that defined her.

Though Kathy has left this world, her spirit lives on in the hearts of her beloved family, her children, Michael, Jason, and Catalina, and her devoted husband, Bill. While her physical presence may be gone, her love, her laughter, and her memories will forever remain.

As we mourn Kathy's untimely departure, we find solace in the belief that she has embarked on a new journey, one beyond our comprehension. In heaven, she will find eternal peace and happiness, looking down upon her family with love and pride.

Kathy touched the lives of many, and her memory will forever be cherished. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and patriotism that will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.

In this time of sorrow, let us remember Kathy with love and gratitude for the precious time we had with her. May she rest in eternal peace, basking in the light of heaven's embrace.

Let us join together in honoring the memory of Katherine "Kathy" Alison Gilbert, a cherished wife, mother, and friend, who now rests in the loving arms of heaven.
