Kim started a "new chapter" at Mary's Woods outside Portland and near Amy, making friends (especially weekly dinners together, pictured), participating on the resident council, taking many flower garden day trips and birding excursions with Amy.
Kim, the life-long learner, continued active with the United Nations Assoc, International Peace, Women's Rights, and her love for birds which took her all over the US with Dick and Amy and when possible her grandchildren who have adopted her love of birds. She practically raised little bluebirds in her backyard houses and could have hand fed the little ones with meal worms. Kim has been dedicated to the work of Cornell Ornithology where she worked early on, volunteered and continued all her life in the annual backyard bird counts and participated in their online courses.
Jeff known for his architectural designs in Santa Fe NM based on traditional adobe construction, loving son and brother, lover of nature following in Kim's steps, passed away in 1999 from multiple myeloma, closely surrounded by family and friends
