K.C.'s obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kassim "K.C." Hammer, better known as K.C., on May 13, 2023. Born on August 7, 1958, K.C. leaves behind a rich legacy of hard work, perseverance, and stubbornness.

K.C. is survived by his devoted son, Michael Hammer and stepdaughters Heather Jenson, Lauren Adams and Girlfriend Cara Meyers. He was predeceased by his mother, Dorothy Hammer, his father, Khazal Hammer, his brother, Saad AL-Hammer, his brother, Jimmy Hammer, and his sister, Diana Hammer.

Throughout his life, K.C. was a hardworking and devoted father, as well as an avid outdoorsman. His favorite recreational activities included hunting, fishing, riding Harleys, and watching his grandchildren play sports (mostly yelling at umps or referees).

Those who were blessed to know K.C. will remember his favorite treats, especially a delicious chocolate frosty. He was known for his wisdom and often shared lessons such as, "hard work pays off," "practice makes perfect," and "nothing will work unless you do."

Some of K.C.'s most cherished accomplishments included being a caring father, PaPa, and the "Ultimate Guide." Though he achieved much in his life, K.C.'s true pride and joy were his grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable happiness.

As we say goodbye to Kassim "K.C." Hammer, we are grateful for the countless memories and lessons he leaves behind. His unwavering commitment to hard work, love for his family, and passion for the great outdoors will be deeply missed.
