Kasimir's obituary
It is with profound sorrow that we learned late of the passing of our brother and uncle Kasimir "Kas" Kreisel, who we learned left us over 4 months ago on April 28, 2025 in Burlington, Ontario after a short illness.
Born on April 10, 1961, Kas was a uniqure individual who was memorable to all who knew him. Although he did not have a family of his own he did have a monkey - Count Pixie, whom he brought back to Canadas after a lengthy vacation in Mexico and whom brightened his life for over 10 years . He was a skilled tradesman as a self taught electrician who received his Master Electrician license without having to attend school or intern under a licensed professional. Never one to answer to others, Kas set out as an entrepreneur running B.O.Y. Electric for several decades providing residential and commercial electrical services and landscape lighting for the Toronto market. He also learned to sew expertly tailored clothes, could grow anything and particularly orchids in abundance. He was a patient and fun loving uncle to Jordan, Jesse, Ria and Sian spending time with each of them on weekends working on his home and teaching them about the importance of selecting the right coffee beans to bacon, tools or supplies, or to stay focused on work until it was time for play. He loved all genre of music and even played electric guitar for a time. He enjoyed most genres of music over TV and was an avid reader and learner with a wide variety of interests. Kas was the eldest of 3 kids and leaves behind his sisterTina (David), brother Terry (Sandra) and nieces Natasha and Andrea and is predeceased by his Mom, Margitta Forth (2011 nee Kreisel) and father Ron Forth (1986). Kas lived his life different from most, straying from tradition and charting his own path, often on his own, but also enjoying the times he had with family. We trust wherever he is that he knows the void he has left and the impact he has made in so many ways that we now recognize and appreciate will be with us forever.
