My wife left this earth unexpectedly Friday as a result of recent medical issues. She’s the love of my life and I’m missing her so much. Karin loved our simple life on the farm. Her passions were being with her dog Sawyer, cooking, gardening, being a wife to me, and a friend to others. When we married three years ago, she became an instant mom to my daughters and a grandma (Oma) to Katherine’s children – this filled her heart.

She loved being home in the summer, tending to her raised bed vegetables and sitting with me on our swing, with Sawyer nearby, as we talked about our life together while looking across our field in the country.
