Karen Veenstra, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on March 30, 1956, Karen grew up in Forest Park, IL, where she was raised by her loving grandmother, Sophie Kelly, and mother, Eileen Viers. She shared a close bond with her brothers, Floyd, David, and John, and her sister Jackie Carter. 

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Timothy Veenstra, with whom she built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. She was a proud mother to Chrisondra (George Gitau), Daniel (Beth Dubovik), and Michael, and a grandmother to eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
