Jon, Julia, & Krista - Sending loving thoughts and prayers of comfort and peace as you navigate these difficult days and months. I met Karen in Prospect Marching Band junior year and was roommates with her sophomore and junior years at Illinois State. Karen was always helping when/where needed, was adventurous, fun loving, and always seemed to be smiling. As I read through all these memories and pictures, it is evident that carried through to the family life you created together.

Mike and I were broken hearted to hear about Karen. Our deepest sympathies to all of you. I personally, could only think of Karen as I met her when she was a very young girl. She always had the best smile. Looking at the pictures, that obviously remained the same over the years. Mike and I lived through, "Aunt Patti" stories and pictures. Karen was never far from us for that reason. Our hearts and prayers go out to all of you.

I'm so sorry to hear of Karen's passing. Sending condolences and prayers to Jon, Julia, and Krista. She was so friendly and kind. I enjoyed spending time with her and your family when our kids were in preschool/early elementary.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

Karen was so sweet and kind and I enjoyed spending time with her as a gymnastics mom and volunteering for band and PTA together.  She was quick to lend a hand wherever it was needed, and always did it with a smile.  She greatly loved her family and others and will be truly missed. 

Eternal rest grant unto Karen, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.   Amen.

We're so sorry for your loss.... We met your daughter, Krista, through our daughter and their mutual friends, and then my husband met Karen through business. Your family has been a joy to know, to celebrate with, to work with. We are praying for y'all.

Please accept my very deepest condolences. I met Karen through FMHS band. She was so incredibly kind and patient with me while I attempted to navigate the program. I will always remember her very fondly.

Our family is heartbroken over the loss of Karen.  She has always been an amazing friend and fellow mom.  From walking the kids to school to marching band competitions she was always there for her family and friends.

I am so sorry for your loss. Karen was such a lovely and vibrant person, with a kind soul. I have very fond memories of her and the times we volunteered together with the FMHS band. Please accept my deepest condolences. Wishing you peace, comfort and courage at this time of sorrow.

Jon and girls, I am so very sorry for your loss. Sending you all lots of prayers and love as you go through this incredibly unbelievable and difficult time. Please know that I am here for all you (from Illinois) if I can ever be any help or want me to share any stories of my days with Karen in high school, college and beyond.
