Born on January 11, 1944, in rural Pennsylvania to Casey and Helen (Levkulich) Kizas, Karen carried the values of resilience and wit with her from childhood through every chapter of her life. A proud graduate of Donora High School and Point Park University’s junior college in Pittsburgh, she spent most of her career with Warner & Swasey in Cleveland, OH, where her sharp mind and independent spirit shone.
