After a difficult battle with cancer Karen Sakamoto passed away peacefully on August 30, 2021. Karen was born February 6, 1943, and she was the youngest of five girls.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents; Shigeto and Hideko Iwata, sisters, Michi Egusa and Satsuki Fujitani. She is survived by sisters, Tayeko Takeda and Masae Matsumoto. Karen leaves behind husband George, son Jeff and his wife Leslie and children Ryan, Megan and Carly and …
